درمان ارتودنسی همراه با جراحی فک فارغ از نوع و شدت ناهنجاری فکی و دندانی نیاز به مطالعه و طرح ریزی دقیق درمان با حداکثر هماهنگی بین ارتودنتیست و جراح را دارد و البته داشتن مهارت و تجربه کافی. در این کیس بیمار با وجود انجام درمان ارتودنسی همراه با جراحی فک به دلیل برگشت دندانها، انحراف هر دو فک و کشیدگی صورت جهت درمان مجدد مراجعه کردند. درمان مجدد ارتودنسی همراه با جراحی دو فک در مدت ۲ سال برای ایشان انجام شد. به تغییرات اعمال شده در فرم و هارمونی صورت، نسبت عرض به ارتفاع صورت، اصلاح انحراف هر دو فک و تأثیر آن بر لبخند توجه کنید.

Orthodontic treatment combined with jaw surgery regardless of severity of the malocclusion demands for proper and accurate treatment planning  and maximum coordination between orthodontist and surgeon  and ofcourse the skills and expertise. In this case despite patient had history of failed orthodontic treatment with jaw surgery came to our office and seeking for retreatment because of the occlusion relapse, occlusal cant, long face and lower jaw deviation. Retreatment (orthodontic treatment with both jaw surgery)done for here within 2 years. Attend to the improvement of face proportion and harmony, occlusal cant correction, lower jaw deviation and the overall impacts on smile.
